In the constellation Cepheus, the Iris Nebula glows from over 1,300 light-years away. This image shows the true color of the soft reflection of its faint clouds, captured over two weeks.

On May 19th, 2023, an amateur astronomer spotted a supernova in the Pinwheel Galaxy - a target that I just captured eight hours of data from the month prior. On the first clear night in June, I, too, was able to spot the supernova - just a tad late.
