The Northern Lights

Laksvatn, Norway

Seeking dark skies, we set up camp near Laksvatn on the Ullsfjorden, outside of Tromsø. The lights, initially dim and sputtering, blazed across the sky in a powerful display after twenty minutes.

Abisko, Sweden

In Abisko National Park, Sweden, we had the Blue Hole¹ helping us clear out the clouds above the park and could walk just a few minutes away from our cabin to get a great view of the lights.
